Craigslist Ad Tracker – Five More Reasons To Use It

I recently published my Craigslist Ad Tracker Review but there were simply too many reasons to use their service to squeeze in to one post. So, I decided to split it up into two separate posts. This is essentially part two.

If you are not familiar with Craigslist Ad Tracker, it is an invaluable service if you wish to do any Craigslist marketing at all. In fact, after I started using it I realized how aimless my previous efforts were. Not that I didn’t generate any leads from there before because I did. However, I just didn’t know who, what, when where and why. Essentially, I was unable to track what was working. So, the name is pretty self-explanatory and below are five more reasons you should be using Craigslist Ad Tracker.

Craigslist Ad Tracker is inexpensive. Compared to the value you receive, it is under-priced. The bottom line is if you want to market on Craigslist, this service is a must. Those who do not use it will certainly give up and quit Craigslist all together.

Craigslist Ad Tracker allows you to segregate ads into groups. This is a great feature if you are like me and use Craigslist marketing for several different reasons. Grouping your trackers allows you to quickly see which ads from one campaign or another are most effective.

Craigslist Ad Tracker allows you to create submission forms. Perhaps you don’t have a splash page to direct prospects or you just want to further qualify your leads before following up. You can create a submission form that you can either embed on another site or use as a stand alone web page you can link to.

The submission form allows you to create as many different questions as you need and different types of questions including radio button, text boxes and multiple choice drop-down menus.

Craigslist Ad Tracker hosts your image ads. I have found image ads to be vastly more effective on Craigslist for several reasons, which I won’t go into here. However, if you do use image ads you can upload all of them to the system. This makes it quick and easy to post because you won’t have to keep track of any file URL’s that would otherwise be hosted elsewhere. Simply click on “Image Tracking,” view images and grab the file code. You can then create a new tracking code with your image.

Craigslist Ad Tracker has an affiliate program. An affiliate program is always something I look for when signing up for a new service because it allows you to refer others and earn money. Because the Craigslist Ad Tracker in particular is inexpensive, you may not make a fortune but you can certainly have it pay for itself with just a few referrals.
